  • Kraken's Adam Larsson: Stuck in scoring slump

Larsson was held off the scoresheet for the 16th straight game in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Kings.

Larsson is a top-four defenseman who plays in a shutdown role, so it's not unusual for him to have long stretches without offense. This is a pretty bad slump even in that context, though he also opened last year on a 13-game drought and ended the 2023-24 campaign with no points over his last 20 outings. Overall, the 32-year-old has three points, 32 shots on net, 31 hits, 43 blocked shots, 15 PIM and a plus-2 rating over 21 contests this season.

  • Kraken's Shane Wright: Loses lineup spot

Wright was scratched for a third straight game Saturday in a 2-1 loss to the Kings.

The Kraken rotated Wright out of the lineup Nov. 17 versus the Rangers. Seattle has lost two of the three games he's sat out, scoring just four goals in that span, so it's possible he gets a look again soon. Prior to the scratches, Wright had gone 13 games without a point. He has just two points over 18 appearances this season -- dynasty managers will want to weather the storm, but Wright is not an option in redraft leagues at this time. If he can't up his game soon, he may be ticketed for a trip to AHL Coachella Valley.

  • Kraken's Oliver Bjorkstrand: Earns helper in loss

Bjorkstrand notched an assist in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Kings.

Bjorkstrand snapped a three-game slump with the helper. The winger is back on the third line after seeing more ice time in mid-November. He's produced nine points, 43 shots on net, 16 hits and a plus-2 rating through 20 outings this season. Few Kraken forwards produce offense at an elite rate, so Bjorkstrand will need to be steadier to be an option for most fantasy managers.

  • Kraken's Brandon Montour: Lights lamp again Saturday

Montour scored a goal on three shots while adding three blocked shots and a plus-1 rating in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Kings.

The veteran blueliner spoiled David Rittich's shutout bid with 94 seconds left in the third period, blasting a shot through traffic that the goalie got only a piece of. Montour has found the back of the net in back-to-back games, and he's racked up six goals and 14 points through his first 20 contests with the Kraken.

  • Kraken's Joey Daccord: Tough loss Saturday

Daccord made 19 saves in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Kings.

Two goals less than two minutes apart in the second period, including a power-play tally by Quinton Byfield, accounted for the only damage against Daccord, but the Seattle offense didn't get on the board until late in the third. The 28-year-old netminder is 9-4-1 through 14 starts this season with a 2.30 GAA and .922 save percentage.

  • Kraken's Joey Daccord: Set to start Saturday

Daccord is expected to start on the road against LA on Saturday, per Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site.

Daccord has been a standout performer with a 9-3-1 record, 2.31 GAA and .923 save percentage in 13 appearances in 2024-25. He's won his past five starts while allowing just eight goals on 131 shots (.939 save percentage). The Kings are tied for 16th offensively with 3.05 goals per game.

  • Kraken's Jordan Eberle: Out long term after surgery

Eberle underwent a pelvic surgery Friday and will be out for at least three months.

Eberle is a candidate for long-term injured reserve whenever the Kraken decide they need cap relief. The winger was injured Nov. 14 versus the Blackhawks. He likely won't be back prior to the 4 Nations Faceoff in February, and it's possible he's out longer than that. Andre Burakovsky has received the first opportunity on the top line with Matty Beniers and Jared McCann in Eberle's absence, but the Kraken are likely to try a number of forwards there over the course of their captain's recovery.

  • Kraken's Vince Dunn: Aiming for November return

Dunn (upper body) will travel with the Kraken for an upcoming two-game road trip but won't be back in action until late November, Scott Malone of Root Sports reports.

Based on Dunn's timeline, fantasy players could potentially target Nov. 29 or 30 versus the Sharks as a possible return date for the blueliner. Out since mid-October, the 28-year-old Ontario native started the 2024-25 campaign off strong with points in three of his four appearances. Once given the all-clear, Dunn should offer decent offensive upside while retaking a power-play role.

  • Kraken's Jaden Schwartz: Provides two assists in win

Schwartz registered two assists, two shots on goal, three blocked shots and a plus-3 rating in Wednesday's 3-0 win over the Predators.

Schwartz had been held off the scoresheet in the previous two games. This was his third multi-point effort of the season. The 32-year-old winger has held down a steady top-six role and continues to produce offense at a decent pace. He's now at four goals, eight helpers, 39 shots on net, 16 hits, 16 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a plus-3 rating through 20 contests overall.

  • Kraken's Chandler Stephenson: Distributes three helpers in win

Stephenson recorded three assists, two shots on goal, two blocked shots and a plus-3 rating in Wednesday's 3-0 win over the Predators.

The Kraken's second line carried the scoring, with Stephenson's three assists leading the way. He set up goals by Daniel Sprong and Brandon Montour before drawing a secondary helper on Yanni Gourde's empty-netter. This was the third time Stephenson has earned multiple assists in a game. He's settled into a playmaking role, though he's assembled just one point streak this season. The 30-year-old center has a goal, 12 helpers, 20 shots on net and a minus-3 rating over 20 outings, and fantasy managers likely want to see more consistency on a game-to-game basis.

  • Kraken's Yanni Gourde: Fills empty cage

Gourde scored an empty-net goal on two shots in Wednesday's 3-0 win over the Predators.

Gourde has been in a groove lately with two goals and two assists over his last five games. He was on the third line again Wednesday -- Shane Wright has been scratched for two games, leading to a shuffle in the Kraken's bottom six. Gourde is up to seven points, 24 shots on net, 30 hits, 30 PIM, 14 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over 20 appearances this season. He continues to play a key defensive role, though he can chip in some depth scoring in bursts.

  • Kraken's Daniel Sprong: Opens scoring in second period

Sprong scored a goal on a game-high six shots and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 3-0 win over the Predators.

Sprong scored at 15:55 of the second period, his first point in three games since the Kraken reacquired him in a trade with the Canucks. The winger saw 14:10 of ice time Wednesday, his most since the trade. The 27-year-old is typically best suited to bottom-six minutes at even strength and a hefty power-play role. Over 12 outings this season, he has two goals, two assists, 26 shots on net, five hits and a minus-1 rating. He'll have an uphill battle to earn a third straight 40-point campaign, but he should get more opportunities in Seattle than he did in Vancouver.

  • Kraken's Brandon Montour: One of each in win

Montour scored a goal on five shots, added an assist, logged two PIM and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 3-0 win over the Predators.

Montour ended a four-game slump when he helped out on a Daniel Sprong goal in the second period. Montour would then score for the first time since his Oct. 29 hat trick in Montreal in the first minute of the third period. The defenseman's quiet November is a small concern, but he's playing big minutes in a top-four role and should see premium power-play usage until Vince Dunn (upper body) is ready to return. Montour has five goals, 13 points, 63 shots on net, 31 hits, 21 blocked shots, 18 PIM and a plus-7 rating over 19 appearances, offering well-rounded production for fantasy.

  • Kraken's Joey Daccord: Earns first shutout of season

Daccord posted a 24-save shutout in Wednesday's 3-0 win over the Kraken.

Daccord wasn't as busy as Juuse Saros, who stopped 33 of 35 shots. It took the Kraken until late in the second period to get on the board with a Daniel Sprong goal, and that was ultimately all the support Daccord needed. The 28-year-old netminder played in five of the Kraken's six games during this homestand, winning all of his appearances and allowed just eight goals on 131 shots (.939 save percentage) in that span. For the season, he's at a 9-3-1 record with a 2.31 GAA and a .923 save percentage over 13 starts. The Kraken have a two-game road trip up next, beginning with a visit to Los Angeles on Saturday.

  • Kraken's Jordan Eberle: No timetable for return yet

Eberle (lower body) isn't expected to play Wednesday and a timetable for his recovery is still being determined. "We saw a doc on Monday, we're getting a couple of other opinions, and we should probably have more in the next 24 hours - a better, clearer picture as to what we're dealing with and what that timeline will look like," GM Ron Francis said, per Julian Gaudio of The Hockey News on Wednesday.

Eberle has six goals and 11 points in 17 appearances in 2024-25. He's missed Seattle's past two games due to his lower-body injury. When he's healthy, Eberle figures to serve in a top-six capacity. Ben Meyers is projected to remain in the lineup for a second straight game Wednesday due in part to Eberle's absence.

  • Kraken's Joey Daccord: Expected to start Wednesday

Daccord is slated to start at home against Nashville on Wednesday, per Kate Shefte of The Seattle Times.

Daccord has won his past four starts while saving 99 of 107 shots (.925 save percentage). He's having a strong campaign in which he's posted an 8-3-1 record, 2.51 GAA and .918 save percentage in 12 outings. The Predators rank 30th offensively with 2.42 goals per game, though Nashville is coming off a 5-3 victory over Vancouver on Sunday.
