Jets' Dylan Samberg: Shifts to IR
Samberg (foot) was placed on injured reserve Sunday.
Samberg is out indefinitely after suffering a broken foot in Saturday's 4-1 loss to Nashville. He has three goals, three assists, 27 shots on net, 30 blocked shots and 24 hits across 21 appearances this season. Winnipeg recalled Ville Heinola (ankle) from his conditioning loan with AHL Manitoba in a corresponding move.

Jets' Ville Heinola: Back from conditioning loan
Heinola (ankle) was recalled from his conditioning assignment with AHL Manitoba on Sunday.
Winnipeg moved Dylan Samberg (foot) to injured reserve in a corresponding move. After recovering from his September ankle surgery, Heinola had one assist in two minor-league outings during his conditioning stint. He could make his season debut with the Jets on Monday versus Minnesota due to Samberg's absence.

Jets' David Gustafsson: Can't break into lineup
Gustafsson has played just one of the Jets' first 21 games of 2024-25.
Gustafsson was dealing with a lower-body injury early on, but he was cleared to play Oct. 20. That was his lone appearance -- the 17-4-0 Jets have opted to stick with what works amid a fantastic start to the campaign. Barring injuries or a team-wide slump, it doesn't look like Gustafsson will be seeing much playing time this season.

Jets' Mason Appleton: Chips in with assist
Appleton provided an assist and four shots on goal in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Predators.
Appleton snapped a seven-game slump with his helper on an Adam Lowry tally. The 28-year-old Appleton has maintained a steady third-line role, but his performance has dipped after a strong October. He's at 11 points, 34 shots on net, 19 hits, 13 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating over 21 appearances this season.

Jets' Adam Lowry: Nets goal Saturday
Lowry scored a goal in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Predators.
Lowry found the back of the net with a wrist shot midway through the second period, but that would be all the offense the Jets would muster in the entire game. It was a disappointing effort from Winnipeg, but at least Lowry managed to crack the scoresheet for the third time in his last five appearances. He has two goals and one assist in that span, though the lack of consistency on a game-to-game basis and his role as a bottom-six forward limits his fantasy appeal.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Defeated by Nashville
Comrie stopped 32 of 35 shots in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Predators. The fourth goal was an empty-netter with 1:20 left in the third period.
Comrie started in the second half of Winnipeg's back-to-back set, and he had a disappointing performance against one of the lowest-scoring offenses in the league en route to a 4-1 defeat. Comrie has dropped his last two starts while stopping 77 of 85 shots. He should return to his regular backup role behind Connor Hellebuyck when the Jets take on the Wild on Monday.

Jets' Dylan Samberg: Suffers foot fracture
Samberg suffered a broken foot Saturday versus the Predators and will return to Winnipeg for further evaluation, Jim Toth of TSN 1290 Winnipeg reports.
A timeline for Samberg's recovery hasn't been established, but given the nature of the injury, he will likely be out multiple weeks. Ville Heinola (ankle) is expected to be back with the Jets for Monday's game versus the Wild after completing a conditioning stint, and he may draw right into the lineup to replace Samberg.

Jets' Dylan Samberg: Suffers lower-body injury
Samberg won't return to Saturday's tilt against Nashville after sustaining a lower-body injury.
Samberg entered the game with three goals, six points, 24 hits and 28 blocks across 20 appearances in 2024-25. He logged 9:07 of ice time Saturday before exiting the match. If he can't play Monday versus Minnesota, then Dylan Coghlan might draw back into the lineup for the first time in 2024-25.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Tending twine Saturday
Comrie will start on the road versus the Predators on Saturday, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.
Connor Hellebuyck had a 17-save performance in Friday's win over the Penguins, but that light workload won't lead to him starting both halves of a back-to-back. Comrie will instead draw in for the first time since Nov. 14. The 29-year-old has gone 3-1-0 with a 2.77 GAA and a .909 save percentage over his first four appearances this season. The Predators enter this game in last place with 2.30 goals per game this season.

Jets' Cole Perfetti: Sets up empty-netter
Perfetti produced an assist, three shots on goal, two blocked shots, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 4-1 win over the Penguins.
The helper ended a four-game point drought for Perfetti, who has amassed three assists over eight contests without a goal. The 22-year-old is still in his usual second-line role, and he saw a season-high 17:19 of ice time in Friday's game. Overall, he has 14 points, 37 shots on net, 12 blocked shots and a plus-11 rating through 20 appearances. Perfetti remains on pace for a career year, but his offense has been in short bursts rather than consistent stretches so far.

Jets' Nikolaj Ehlers: Collects assist Friday
Ehlers notched an assist and two shots on goal in Friday's 4-1 win over the Penguins.
Ehlers set up Vladislav Namestnikov's goal in the second period, which ended being the game-winner. The 28-year-old Ehlers is in a five-game goal drought, but he's made up for it with five assists and 11 shots on net in that span. For the season, the winger has produced 23 points, 53 shots and a plus-10 rating through 20 contests while seeing steady second-line minutes in addition to a spot on the first power-play unit.

Jets' Josh Morrissey: Produces power-play assist
Morrissey logged a power-play assist and four shots on goal in Friday's 4-1 win over the Penguins.
Morrissey helped out on a Gabriel Vilardi tally late in the second period. While he's been limited to four helpers over his last seven contests, there's little reason to be concerned about Morrissey. He's still playing huge minutes as the Jets' top defenseman, but his early pace was always going to be tough to sustain. For the season, the 29-year-old has two goals, 18 assists, nine power-play points, 43 shots on net, 33 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating over 20 appearances.

Jets' Mark Scheifele: Generates helper in win
Scheifele logged an assist in Friday's 4-1 win over the Penguins.
Scheifele helped out on Kyle Connor's empty-netter. This was an unusual game for Scheifele -- he took just two faceoffs, with winger Gabriel Vilardi filling in at the dot most of the time on the top line. It's unclear if there is an injury concern, as Scheifele led all Jets forwards with 18:53 of ice time. The veteran center has six goals and six helpers over 10 contests in November, putting him at 25 points, 46 shots on net, 18 hits, 16 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating across 20 outings overall.

Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Scores in Friday's win
Namestnikov scored a goal on three shots and added two PIM in Friday's 4-1 win over the Penguins.
Namestnikov scored at 4:53 of the second period, and his goal stood as the game-winner, his first such goal since the 2021-22 campaign. He had gone three games without a point prior to Friday. The 32-year-old center is at six goals, seven assists, 25 shots on net, 24 hits, 18 PIM and a plus-11 rating through 20 outings, providing both offense and some grit in a middle-six role.

Jets' Nino Niederreiter: Capitalizes on turnover
Niederreiter scored a goal on two shots in Friday's 4-1 win over the Penguins.
Erik Karlsson and Evgeni Malkin combined to misplay the puck, which popped loose for Niederreiter to score just 1:22 into the game. The tally ended a six-game dry spell for Niederreiter, who has maintained his third-line role thanks to the Jets' continued success despite his lack of recent offense. The 32-year-old winger is up to eight goals, 13 points, 44 shots on net, 44 hits, 12 PIM and a plus-11 rating over 20 contests. He can be streaky, but in fantasy, he offers a bit of category coverage as a depth option and streamer.

Jets' Gabriel Vilardi: Strikes on power play Friday
Vilardi scored a power-play goal and won 12 of 16 faceoffs in Friday's 4-1 win over the Penguins.
Vilardi is a natural center, but he has frequently served as a winger this season. It's unclear what led to his larger role at the dot Friday -- Mark Scheifele took just two draws, but there's been no report of him dealing with an injury. Vilardi hasn't posted a multi-point effort in November, but he has five goals and three assists over 10 appearances this month as he continues to be steady on offense. Overall, he has eight goals, eight helpers, seven power-play points, 38 shots on net and a plus-3 rating across 20 contests.

Jets' Kyle Connor: Unlikely Gordie Howe hat trick
Connor scored an empty-net goal on three shots, added a power-play assist and logged a fighting major in Friday's 4-1 win over the Penguins.
The fight was Connor's first in his NHL career, so it's safe to assume no one expected him to have a Gordie Howe hat trick. His bout stemmed from him throwing a reverse hit on Sidney Crosby early in the third period. Connor's consistency has slipped lately -- he's gotten on the scoresheet in just three of the last eight games, but he has a multi-point effort all three times. Overall, he's at 13 goals, 13 helpers, six power-play points, 73 shots on net and a plus-10 rating over 20 appearances.
