  • Hockey Club's Lawson Crouse: Skid continues Sunday

Crouse was held off the scoresheet for the 13th game in a row in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Crouse has racked up 34 hits and nine PIM during his point drought, but it's seen him move down from the second line to the third line. The power winger is known to be streaky, but he's also topped the 20-goal and 30-point marks in each of the previous three seasons, which will be hard to repeat without a significant improvement in 2024-25. He's at three goals, one assist, 38 shots on net, 40 hits, 14 blocked shots, 15 PIM and a minus-1 rating through 21 contests so far this season.

  • Hockey Club's Michael Kesselring: Hands out helper in loss

Kesselring produced an assist and four shots on goal in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Kesselring has been listed on the third pairing for a few games now, but he was over 20 minutes of ice time (20:25) Sunday, the first time he's reached that threshold since Nov. 7. The 24-year-old blueliner is also firmly on the second power-play unit. Kesselring has been asked to do more than expected due to injuries on Utah's blue line, and he's been up to the challenge with 11 points, 39 shots on net, 32 hits, 19 blocked shots, 19 PIM and a plus-8 rating over 21 contests this season. That level of offense is worth consideration in most fantasy formats, especially those that reward his non-scoring contributions as well.

  • Hockey Club's Mikhail Sergachev: Supplies power-play assist

Sergachev logged a power-play assist and two PIM in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

The helper was Sergachev's first in seven games, though he had three goals in that span as well. The 26-year-old defenseman continues to look right at home on Utah's top pairing, playing heavy minutes in an all-situations role. He's up to 14 points, 34 shots on net, 36 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating through 21 appearances, a pace that could allow him to challenge for the second 60-point campaign of his career.

  • Hockey Club's Dylan Guenther: Helps out on power play

Guenther produced a power-play assist, two shots on goal, two hits and two PIM in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Guenther has three goals and five assists over his last eight outings. He's picked up three power-play points over the last two games as he continues to make a large impact in that game situation. The 21-year-old winger is up to nine goals, nine assists, eight power-play points, 51 shots on net, 14 PIM and a plus-5 rating over 21 contests this season. Guenther's breakout campaign isn't slowing down, though he could be prone to occasional slumps when Utah's team-wide offense falters.

  • Hockey Club's Jack McBain: Goals in consecutive games

McBain scored a goal, added two PIM and logged five hits in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

McBain has scored five times over his last eight outings, and he has a goal in each of the last two games. His third-period tally Sunday got Utah within one, but they couldn't complete the comeback effort. The 24-year-old power forward is up to seven goals, 10 points, 16 shots on net, 39 PIM, 62 hits and a plus-4 rating through 21 contests. His recent success on offense has lifted him into a second-line role alongside Logan Cooley and Dylan Guenther, so McBain will have some appeal as a depth scorer and agitator.

  • Hockey Club's Logan Cooley: Another two-point effort

Cooley scored a power-play goal on three shots, added an assist and logged three hits in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Cooley opened the scoring late in the first period and helped out on a Jack McBain tally in the third, but the Maple Leafs scored three times between Utah's two goals. This was Cooley's second multi-point effort in a row and his fifth such game this season. The 20-year-old center is up to four goals, 16 points (three on the power play), 44 shots on net, 17 hits and a plus-4 rating over 21 appearances while filling a second-line role in his second NHL campaign.

  • Hockey Club's Karel Vejmelka: Can't sweep weekend back-to-back

Vejmelka stopped 32 of 35 shots in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Vejmelka turned in another solid performance, but a three-goal second period from Toronto handed him his fourth loss in his last seven outings. The 28-year-old has given up just 13 goals on 210 shots in that span, good for a .925 save percentage. Vejmelka will fill the No. 1 role while Connor Ingram (upper body) is on injured reserve, and the fact that he played both games of a back-to-back speaks volumes as to how little confidence Utah has in Jaxson Stauber. Consider Vejmelka likely to start again Tuesday in Montreal. He's at a 2-6-0 record despite a 2.30 GAA and a .926 save percentage through 10 outings this season.

  • Hockey Club's Robert Bortuzzo: Filling part-time role

Bortuzzo has played in just eight of Utah's first 20 games of the season.

Bortuzzo has no points, 15 blocked shots, 16 PIM, nine hits, three shots on goal and a minus-4 rating. Utah has opted to give younger defensemen like Maveric Lamoureux and Vladislav Kolyachonok looks over Bortuzzo, who fills a third-pairing role when he plays. The 35-year-old Bortuzzo can play a physical game, but his playing time isn't steady enough to warrant fantasy consideration.

  • Hockey Club's Maveric Lamoureux: Logs helper in win

Lamoureux notched an assist, three shots on goal, three hits, two blocked shots and six PIM in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Penguins.

Lamoureux ended a seven-game slump with the helper. The 20-year-old defenseman hasn't avoided mixing it up, racking up 28 PIM in that span. He's up to three points, 14 shots on net, 16 hits, 36 PIM and a plus-4 rating over 13 appearances. Lamoureux adds toughness and a little bit of a scoring touch in a bottom-four role, but his fantasy utility remains limited without much of a power-play role.

  • Hockey Club's Michael Carcone: Gets on scoresheet with two assists

Carcone provided two assists -- one on the power play -- and five shots on goal in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Penguins.

These were Carcone's first two points of the season. The 28-year-old has played in seven straight games after being a scratch for most of October. He's added nine hits, 17 PIM, 18 shots on net and an even plus-minus rating through 10 appearances this season. With Utah settling back into playing the traditional six defensemen and 12 forwards, Carcone looks to have established himself in the lineup over the more physical Liam O'Brien.

  • Hockey Club's Logan Cooley: Two helpers in homecoming

Cooley provided a pair of assists, three shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Penguins.

This was Cooley's second trip to Pittsburgh as an NHLer, and he got on the scoresheet after being held pointless at PPG Paints Arena last year. The Pittsburgh native has been steady in a second-line role this season, racking up three goals, 11 helpers, 41 shots on net, 14 hits and a plus-4 rating through 20 contests. Utah's offense has been a bit volatile, so the 20-year-old center could be prone to running streaky in 2024-25.

  • Hockey Club's Nick Schmaltz: Provides two assists in win

Schmaltz logged two assists, three shots on goal and two PIM in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Penguins.

Schmaltz nearly had his first goal of the season Saturday, but it was overturned on a review for goaltender interference. He has three helpers over his last three games, but the 28-year-old has faltered a bit from a consistency standpoint in November. He's now at 15 helpers, 41 shots on net and a minus-6 rating through 20 outings overall. Schmaltz is the only forward in the league to have at least 40 shots on goal and no goals yet -- the other two players who have hit that level of futility are defensemen Jacob Trouba and Brent Burns.

  • Hockey Club's Alex Kerfoot: Nets goal in blowout win

Kerfoot scored a goal in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Penguins.

Kerfoot deflected in a shot attempt by Maveric Lamoureux. Entering Saturday, Kerfoot had picked up just one helper over his previous seven outings. The 30-year-old forward is a key part of Utah's structure, but he often fills a bottom-six role at even strength. He's contributed six points, 30 shots on net, 16 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating through 20 contests this season.

  • Hockey Club's Jack McBain: Tallies again Saturday

McBain scored a goal and added seven hits in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Penguins.

McBain opened the scoring at 8:54 of the first period. He's primarily been a fourth-liner in 2024-25, but he was on the second line Saturday. The 24-year-old has four goals, 11 PIM and 20 hits over his last seven contests to earn a larger role. He's up to six goals, three assists, 57 hits, 37 PIM, 15 shots on net and a plus-4 rating through 20 outings overall.

  • Hockey Club's Nick Bjugstad: Strikes on power play in win

Bjugstad scored a power-play goal and added two hits in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Penguins.

Bjugstad's first power-play point was also his fourth goal in the last five games. The 32-year-old center has held down a middle-six role since he returned from an upper-body injury Oct. 26. He has six points, 17 shots on net, 19 hits and a minus-1 rating over 12 appearances this season.

  • Hockey Club's Mikhail Sergachev: Finds twine Saturday

Sergachev scored a goal and went plus-2 in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Penguins.

Sergachev is up to five goals this season, three of which he's scored over the last five contests. His tally Saturday stood as the game-winner. Sergachev has 13 points, 33 shots on net, 35 blocked shots, 13 hits and a minus-2 rating through 20 outings overall while serving as Utah's top blueliner.

  • Hockey Club's Karel Vejmelka: Between pipes again Sunday

Vejmelka will guard the road net Sunday against the Maple Leafs, Belle Fraser of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

After stopping 27 of 28 shots in a win over Pittsburgh on Saturday, Vejmelka will make a second start in as many days with Connor Ingram (upper body) still sidelined. The 28-year-old Vejmelka is 2-5-0 despite a strong .927 save percentage and 2.21 GAA this season.

  • Hockey Club's Clayton Keller: Three helpers in rout

Keller notched three assists, two on the power play, in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Penguins.

After helping to set up Mikhail Sergachev in the first period for what proved to be the game-winner, Keller pocketed two more assists with the man advantage in the third. It's his first multi-point performance since Oct. 12, and while Keller has yet to find the back of the net in November, he has produced eight assists in nine games on the month.

  • Hockey Club's Dylan Guenther: Three-point effort Saturday

Guenther scored two power-play goals and added an even-strength assist in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Penguins.

Both tallies came in the third period as Utah put the game away. Guenther has three multi-goal performances this season, but the other two came back in October in the first two games of the campaign. The ninth overall pick in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft has nine goals and 17 points through 20 contests, including four goals and seven points on the power play, as he looks to take the next step in his third NHL campaign.
