  • Rangers' Chad Ruhwedel: Assigned to minors

Ruhwedel was reassigned to AHL Hartford on Sunday.

Ruhwedel and Victor Mancini headed down to the minors Sunday, which could bode well for the availability of Zac Jones (upper body) ahead of Monday's matchup against St. Louis. The 34-year-old Ruhwedel has been a healthy scratch for the last six games, and he's appeared in only one game for the Rangers this season.

Mancini was assigned to AHL Hartford on Sunday.

Mancini has one goal, three assists, 13 shots on net, 12 blocked shots and seven hits across 10 NHL outings this season. The Rangers also loaned Chad Ruhwedel to the AHL on Sunday, indicating that Zac Jones (upper body) might be ready to return against the Blues on Monday.

  • Rangers' Alexis Lafreniere: Provides assist in loss

Lafreniere notched an assist and three shots on goal in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Oilers.

Lafreniere has gotten on the scoresheet in six of the last seven games, earning three goals and three assists in that span. The 23-year-old winger is up to eight goals, eight helpers, 41 shots on net, 21 hits and a minus-5 rating through 19 contests overall. As long as his offense stays consistent, he'll be a productive player for fantasy.

  • Rangers' Adam Fox: Bags apple Saturday

Fox produced an assist and two blocked shots in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Oilers.

Fox has four helpers, four shots on net and eight blocked shots over his last three contests. He continues to offer consistent offense from a top-pairing role. The 26-year-old blueliner is up to 17 assists, 25 shots on net, 24 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating across 19 appearances this season.

  • Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Scores both goals in loss

Panarin scored twice on six shots and went minus-2 in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Oilers.

Panarin snapped a five-game goal drought and ended his season-high two-game pointless skid with his fourth multi-goal effort of 2024-25. The 33-year-old winger is up to 12 tallies, 26 points, 67 shots on net and a plus-1 rating over 19 appearances. While Panarin adds no physicality, his scoring is elite, and that's enough to keep him in fantasy lineups every game the Rangers play.

  • Rangers' Jonathan Quick: First stinker of season

Quick stopped 34 of 40 shots in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Oilers.

Quick had allowed just four goals over his first five appearances of the season, so this was a brutal correction of his extremely good fortune. The Oilers tallied twice in each period and looked nothing like the downtrodden team that has ambled to an 11-9-2 start to 2024-25. Quick is now 4-1-0 with a 1.85 GAA and a .943 save percentage through six outings. The 38-year-old has been scratching away at Igor Shesterkin's playing time recently, but the Rangers' No. 1 should have a chance to regain a hefty share of starts after Quick's stumble Saturday. The Rangers' next game is Monday at home versus the Blues.

  • Rangers' Jonathan Quick: Between pipes Saturday

Quick will patrol the road crease against Edmonton on Saturday, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.

Quick has been perfect in his last two starts, stopping all 61 shots in road wins over Detroit and Seattle. He is 4-0-0 with an eye-popping 0.91 GAA and a just as impressive .970 save percentage in five appearances. Quick will have a tough matchup against the Oilers. Despite averaging only 2.76 goals per game this season, Edmonton has the offensive firepower to light up any team.

  • Rangers' Zac Jones: Not available Saturday

Jones will miss Saturday's tilt in Edmonton due to an upper-body injury, Colin Stephenson of Newsday reports.

Jones will be replaced in the lineup by Victor Mancini. Jones has a goal and five points in 13 games this season. Consider jones day-to-day at this time, and he could return to action as early as Monday against St. Louis.

  • Rangers' Filip Chytil: Not expected to play

Chytil (upper body) isn't expected to play Saturday versus Edmonton, according to Mollie Walker of the New York Post.

Chytil will skate with the extras following the Rangers' morning skate, indicating he will miss his fourth straight game. He has generated four goals and nine points in 15 outings this season. Chytil's next chance to play will come Monday against the Blues.

  • Rangers' Jake Leschyshyn: Sent to AHL

Leschyshyn was assigned to AHL Hartford on Friday, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports.

Leschyshyn was called up by the Rangers last Saturday, but he didn't appear in any games for the NHL club during his time with the team. He's recorded a goal and four points over 13 AHL appearances to begin the year, and he should see more consistent opportunities to play now that he's heading back to Hartford.

  • Rangers' Victor Mancini: Called up Friday

Mancini was recalled by the Rangers on Friday, Vince Z. Mercogliano of USA Today reports.

Mancini was sent to AHL Hartford last week but will rejoin the NHL club after spending just over a week in the minors. The 22-year-old has made nine appearances for the Rangers to begin the year, tallying a goal, four points, 11 blocked shots and seven hits while averaging 15:21 of ice time.

  • Rangers' Jacob Trouba: Garners assist in loss

Trouba logged an assist, four shots on goal, three blocked shots and two hits in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Flames.

Trouba has slowed down dramatically after opening the season with four helpers over three contests. His assist Thursday ended a six-game slump. The 30-year-old is at six helpers, 38 shots on net, 27 hits, 54 blocked shots, 15 PIM and a plus-3 rating through 18 appearances. A shuffle on the Rangers' blue line has seen Trouba playing alongside Ryan Lindgren, forming a tough-as-nails shutdown pairing.

  • Rangers' Ryan Lindgren: Chips in with helper

Lindgren recorded an assist, two hits and two blocked shots in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Flames.

Lindgren ended his nine-game drought by helping out on an Alexis Lafreniere goal in the second period. The 26-year-old Lindgren has been playing on a shutdown pairing with Jacob Trouba instead of in his usual spot alongside Adam Fox. Lindgren is now at two points, 11 shots on net, 21 hits, 25 blocked shots, 10 PIM and a plus-1 rating over 13 appearances this season. He's never produced a 20-point campaign, so the bulk of his limited fantasy value comes from physical play.

  • Rangers' K'Andre Miller: Helpers in consecutive contests

Miller produced an assist in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Flames.

After enduring an 11-game point drought, Miller has a helper in each of the last two contests. He helped out on Will Cuylle's game-tying goal at 16:53 of the second period. Miller has been limited to four points over 18 outings, but he's added a respectable 27 shots on net, 33 hits, 27 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating. He continues to see a top-four role and has frequently played alongside Adam Fox in recent games.

  • Rangers' Adam Fox: Picks up assist in loss

Fox notched an assist and three blocked shots in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Flames.

Fox has earned eight helpers over his last eight contests. The 26-year-old had some struggles with consistency earlier in the campaign, but he's in his usual form now. Overall, he has 16 assists, 24 shots on net, 22 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating through 18 games. He's still looking for a goal, but he's been able to hover just below a point-per-game pace through nearly a quarter of the campaign, which is valuable in all fantasy formats.

  • Rangers' Will Cuylle: Scores again in loss

Cuylle scored a goal and added three hits in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Flames.

Cuylle has four goals and three assists over his last seven contests. He's on a three-game point streak, and he's looked good in a third-line role even with his regular center, Filip Chytil, sidelined by an upper-body injury. Cuylle's up to seven goals, 15 points, a plus-13 rating, 32 shots on net and 75 hits across 18 appearances this season. He should be rostered in most fantasy formats, especially those that reward hits.
