Senators' Zack MacEwen: Waived Sunday
MacEwan was placed on waivers by the Senators on Sunday.
MacEwan has two goals and an assist in 30 games with Ottawa this year, though just one of those points has come in his last 17 contests. Should he clear waivers, the 28-year-old MacEwan will likely remain with AHL Belleville as a depth option.

Senators' Zack Ostapchuk: Summoned from AHL
Ostapchuk was recalled from AHL Belleville on Sunday.
Ostapchuk has earned one assist, three shots on net, five blocked shots and eight hits in six NHL outings this season. He has one goal and seven helpers across nine AHL appearances in 2024-25. Ostapchuk will be an option to play Monday versus Calgary, or he could be a healthy scratch as an extra forward.

Senators' Brady Tkachuk: Scores, shows snarl in loss
Tkachuk scored a power-play goal on two shots, doled out seven hits and added 21 PIM in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Canucks.
This game turned nasty after Quinn Hughes boarded Josh Norris, and nasty works just fine for Tkachuk. He was involved in a dust-up in each period, and the referees had enough of the winger's antics after his third-period fight with Dakota Joshua, tacking a misconduct penalty onto Tkachuk's line. The Senators nearly made a comeback without their captain, so that aggression may have been misplaced in a game that was still somewhat up for grabs. Fantasy managers won't mind -- Tkachuk now has 10 goals, 11 assists, 82 shots on net, 92 hits and a league-leading 48 PIM through 20 appearances this season. Few players can even approach a stat line of that caliber, making the 25-year-old somewhat of a unicorn for fantasy purposes.

Senators' Linus Ullmark: Queasy season continues
Ullmark made 17 saves in a 4-3 loss to Vancouver on Saturday.
He wasn't bad, but he wasn't great, and that's been the theme of his time in Ottawa early in the 2024-25 campaign. Ullmark is a strong netminder, but he has just four wins and has struggled with a 3.10 GAA and an .881 save percentage through 13 appearances. He should stabilize eventually, though it's been a difficult adjustment playing behind the Senators' defense after benefiting from Boston's system in his previous three seasons.

Senators' Drake Batherson: Three-game, four-point streak
Batherson had two assists in a 4-3 loss to the Canucks on Saturday.
One came on the power play. Batherson has one goal and three helpers during his three-game point streak. He has 20 points (eight goals, 12 assists), 35 hits and 46 shots through 20 appearances this season. Batherson has been excellent on the man advantage, registering four goals and four assists.

Senators' Tim Stutzle: Sets team record for goals
Stutzle scored a goal Saturday in a 4-3 loss to Vancouver.
Stutzle is the first player in Senators history to score 100 NHL goals before his 23rd birthday. He has nine goals, 15 assists and 44 shots in 20 games so far, and that pace puts Stutzle on course for a 98-point season. His 20.5 shooting percentage is abnormally high, so his goal pace may slow, but a near triple-digit point total is fantasy elite.

Senators' Claude Giroux: November may be turning around
Giroux had a goal and an assist in a 4-3 loss to the Canucks on Saturday.
Giroux helped key a third-period push with a power-play goal late in the frame; his goal pushed the score to 4-2. November hasn't been kind to Giroux, who has just four points, three of which have come in the last two games, in 11 outings. He's a bit of a fantasy risk right now until the team, which is on a five-game losing skid, finds some consistency.

Senators' Noah Gregor: Still out of action
Gregor (undisclosed) will miss his fourth straight game Saturday versus Vancouver.
Gregor has a pair of goals and an assist in 16 games this season, with both goals being game-winners. Once healthy, Gregor will fill a spot on the fourth line and be instrumental on the penalty kill.

Senators' Linus Ullmark: First off Saturday
Ullmark was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia reports, indicating he will guard the home net Saturday against the Canucks
Ullmark will look to snap his three-game winless skid -- he's struggled to an .841 save percentage in that span, allowing 13 goals on 82 shots. Overall, the 31-year-old netminder is 4-6-1 with an .887 save percentage and 3.00 GAA through his first 12 games with Ottawa.

Senators' Claude Giroux: Nabs power-play assist Thursday
Giroux recorded a power-play assist, two shots on goal and three hits in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Golden Knights.
Giroux is still in a pretty brutal November slump, earning just two helpers over 10 contests this month. He's up to 13 points with 40 shots on net, 15 hits and a plus-2 rating over 19 outings this season. Giroux remains in a top-six role with a power-play spot, but the 36-year-old can play better than he has recently.

Senators' Jake Sanderson: Collects 10th assist
Sanderson notched an assist, two shots on goal and two blocked shots in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Golden Knights.
Sanderson has 10 assists this season, but just three of them have come over 10 outings in November. The 22-year-old defenseman has 11 points (nine on the power play), 38 shots on net, 44 blocked shots and a minus-12 rating through 19 appearances. He's still productive enough to be played in fantasy, but it's fair to be concerned with his consistency and power-play reliance.

Senators' Adam Gaudette: Power-play goal in loss
Gaudette scored a power-play goal in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Golden Knights.
Gaudette saw just 7:14 of ice time Thursday but was able to make an impact in limited action. He hasn't seen over 10 minutes of ice time in any of the last five games, but he's picked up two power-play goals, five shots on net and six hits in that span. The 28-year-old's role is likely to remain limited on the fourth line, but he's still been productive with eight goals, one assist, 25 shots on net, 16 hits and six PIM across 18 appearances.

Senators' Drake Batherson: Scores in Thursday's loss
Batherson scored a goal on two shots in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Golden Knights.
Batherson has gotten on the scoresheet in six of the last seven games, earning three goals and three assists in that span. The top-six winger is providing consistency on offense and the power play while chipping in with hits as well. For the season, he has eight goals, 10 helpers, 43 shots on net, 31 hits, eight PIM and a minus-2 rating over 19 appearances, and seven of his 18 points have come on the power play.

Senators' Linus Ullmark: Winless streak at three
Ullmark stopped 29 shots in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Golden Knights.
Vegas scored a goal in each period, but the Ottawa offense didn't wake up until the third and the team's late rally fell short. Ullmark has lost three straight starts and has gone 2-3-1 so far in November with a shaky 3.31 GAA and .874 save percentage, as the Senators' defensive system has predictably been a lot leakier than what the veteran netminder was used to with the Bruins.

Senators' Noah Gregor: Set to miss another game
Gregor (undisclosed) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Golden Knights.
Gregor will be unavailable for a third consecutive game due to his undisclosed injury. It's not yet clear when the Senators expect him to return, but his next chance to do so will be at home against the Canucks on Saturday. Over 16 appearances this year, Gregor has logged two goals, three points and 34 hits while averaging 13:07 of ice time.

Senators' Linus Ullmark: Starting Thursday
Ullmark will be between the home pipes versus Vegas on Thursday, Claire Hanna of TSN reports.
Ullmark has been shaky his last two starts, allowing 10 goals on only 50 shots. The Swedish netminder is 4-5-1 with a 2.99 GAA and an .884 save percentage in 11 appearances this season. Ullmark is off to his worst start since the 2018-19 season, when he was 15-14-5 with a 3.11 GAA and a .905 save percentage with Buffalo. The Golden Knights will look to get back on track after they were shut out 3-0 in Toronto on Wednesday.
