Balinskis recorded an assist in Saturday's 7-4 loss to the Avalanche.
Balinskis had a run on the first power-play unit for most of November, but he's since moved down to the second unit, with Aaron Ekblad taking over on the first unit. The 28-year-old Balinskis has six helpers, 27 shots on net, 20 hits, 11 PIM and a minus-9 rating through 21 contests. He's an odd fit for power-play duties given the other talented blueliners on the Panthers' roster, but he'll be on the fringe of fantasy interest as long as he's getting looks with the man advantage.

Panthers' Niko Mikkola: Offers helper in loss
Mikkola posted an assist, two blocked shots and a minus-3 rating in Saturday's 7-4 loss to the Avalanche.

He's playing at an elite level while on the top line, and it wouldn't be shocking to see him reach the 80-point mark for the third time in four years even with an eight-game absence already on his ledger.

Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Buried by Avs
Bobrovsky stopped 18 of 24 shots in Saturday's 7-4 loss to Colorado, with the Avalanche's final goal getting scored into an empty net.
Four straight goals by the Avs in the second period put the game out of reach, and most of the pucks that got past Bobrovsky came from in close on deflections and defensive-zone breakdowns by the Panthers. The veteran netminder has lost three of his last four starts, giving up at least four goals in each loss, and as a result he carries a 3.18 GAA and .885 save percentage on the season despite a 9-5-1 record.

Panthers' Spencer Knight: Takes low-scoring loss

The Blackhawks' goals against Knight came on a power play and a breakaway, so it's not all his fault. He did fine to keep the game close, but it wasn't a dominant performance in net by any means.
