McBain has scored five times over his last eight outings, and he has a goal in each of the last two games. His third-period tally Sunday got Utah within one, but they couldn't complete the comeback effort. The 24-year-old power forward is up to seven goals, 10 points, 16 shots on net, 39 PIM, 62 hits and a plus-4 rating through 21 contests. His recent success on offense has lifted him into a second-line role alongside Logan Cooley and Dylan Guenther, so McBain will have some appeal as a depth scorer and agitator.

Cooley scored a power-play goal on three shots, added an assist and logged three hits in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Cooley opened the scoring late in the first period and helped out on a Jack McBain tally in the third, but the Maple Leafs scored three times between Utah's two goals. This was Cooley's second multi-point effort in a row and his fifth such game this season. The 20-year-old center is up to four goals, 16 points (three on the power play), 44 shots on net, 17 hits and a plus-4 rating over 21 appearances while filling a second-line role in his second NHL campaign.

Minten logged a power-play assist in Sunday's 3-2 win over Utah.

Minten has a goal and an assist over his first two NHL appearances this season. He didn't have any points over his first four career games in 2023-24. The 20-year-old is getting a chance to play as injuries have piled up among Toronto's forwards. He's filling a third-line role, but he could be headed back to AHL Toronto once Auston Matthews (upper body) or Max Domi (lower body) can return.

Tavares logged an assist, fired a game-high eight shots on net, logged three hits and won 18 of 23 faceoffs in Sunday's 3-2 win over Utah.

Tavares has four goals and five assists over his last seven outings during a steady run of offense. He set season highs with the eight shots and 18 faceoff wins, and his 78.3 percent win rate at the dot was his highest mark this season. The center has once again been excellent on faceoffs in 2024-25, winning 59.7 percent of them so far. He's contributed nine goals, 11 helpers, 72 shots, 25 hits and a plus-7 rating over 20 appearances. Rumors of his downfall on offense appear to have been exaggerated.

Jarvis (upper body) was activated from injured reserve Sunday.

Jarvis will be available to return from a seven-game absence versus Dallas on Monday. He has accounted for four goals, 11 points, 35 shots on net, 11 blocked shots and 16 hits through 13 appearances this season. Jarvis could replace Tyson Jost against the Stars.

Gustafsson has played just one of the Jets' first 21 games of 2024-25.

Gustafsson was dealing with a lower-body injury early on, but he was cleared to play Oct. 20. That was his lone appearance -- the 17-4-0 Jets have opted to stick with what works amid a fantastic start to the campaign. Barring injuries or a team-wide slump, it doesn't look like Gustafsson will be seeing much playing time this season.

Crouse was held off the scoresheet for the 13th game in a row in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Crouse has racked up 34 hits and nine PIM during his point drought, but it's seen him move down from the second line to the third line. The power winger is known to be streaky, but he's also topped the 20-goal and 30-point marks in each of the previous three seasons, which will be hard to repeat without a significant improvement in 2024-25. He's at three goals, one assist, 38 shots on net, 40 hits, 14 blocked shots, 15 PIM and a minus-1 rating through 21 contests so far this season.

Guenther produced a power-play assist, two shots on goal, two hits and two PIM in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Guenther has three goals and five assists over his last eight outings. He's picked up three power-play points over the last two games as he continues to make a large impact in that game situation. The 21-year-old winger is up to nine goals, nine assists, eight power-play points, 51 shots on net, 14 PIM and a plus-5 rating over 21 contests this season. Guenther's breakout campaign isn't slowing down, though he could be prone to occasional slumps when Utah's team-wide offense falters.

Nylander scored a goal on five shots and added a power-play assist in Sunday's 3-2 win over Utah.

Nylander has posted a stat line of one goal and one assist in four of his last six outings, and he's had at least one power-play point in each of those instances. The 28-year-old forward is in the midst of another strong season in a top-six role for Toronto. He's compiled 14 goals, 10 helpers, 11 power-play points, 76 shots on net and a plus-1 rating over 21 appearances. His 18.4 shooting percentage is a bit lofty, but Nylander is a two-time 40-goal scorer, so he should continue to finish at a high rate even if his efficiency slips a bit.

Marner scored two goals on four shots in Sunday's 3-2 win over Utah.

Marner tied the game at 1-1 at 5:15 of the second period and added a power-play tally just over four minutes later. It's been a remarkable November for Marner, who has earned two points in seven of his last eight games, the lone exception being a 3-0 shutout loss to the Senators on Nov. 12. The 27-year-old winger is up to eight goals, 28 points (12 on the power play), 55 shots on net and a plus-6 rating through 21 appearances. At the quarter mark, he's on pace to earn the first 100-point campaign of his career.

Carcone provided two assists -- one on the power play -- and five shots on goal in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Penguins.

These were Carcone's first two points of the season. The 28-year-old has played in seven straight games after being a scratch for most of October. He's added nine hits, 17 PIM, 18 shots on net and an even plus-minus rating through 10 appearances this season. With Utah settling back into playing the traditional six defensemen and 12 forwards, Carcone looks to have established himself in the lineup over the more physical Liam O'Brien.

Kaprizov (lower body) didn't sustain a serious injury in Thursday's win over Edmonton, according to Michael Russo of The Athletic on Sunday.

Kaprizov had an MRI on Sunday, and the results were encouraging, but it's still unclear when he will be available to play. The Wild will monitor him on a day-by-day basis. Kaprizov didn't play in Saturday's 4-3 shootout loss to Calgary, and it's doubtful that he will return to action in Monday's game versus Winnipeg. An official update on his timeline should come from the team soon. Kaprizov has amassed 13 goals, 34 points and 59 shots on net in 19 appearances this season.

Kesselring produced an assist and four shots on goal in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Kesselring has been listed on the third pairing for a few games now, but he was over 20 minutes of ice time (20:25) Sunday, the first time he's reached that threshold since Nov. 7. The 24-year-old blueliner is also firmly on the second power-play unit. Kesselring has been asked to do more than expected due to injuries on Utah's blue line, and he's been up to the challenge with 11 points, 39 shots on net, 32 hits, 19 blocked shots, 19 PIM and a plus-8 rating over 21 contests this season. That level of offense is worth consideration in most fantasy formats, especially those that reward his non-scoring contributions as well.

Sergachev logged a power-play assist and two PIM in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

The helper was Sergachev's first in seven games, though he had three goals in that span as well. The 26-year-old defenseman continues to look right at home on Utah's top pairing, playing heavy minutes in an all-situations role. He's up to 14 points, 34 shots on net, 36 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating through 21 appearances, a pace that could allow him to challenge for the second 60-point campaign of his career.

Tanev notched an assist in Sunday's 3-2 win over Utah.

Tanev snapped a six-game point drought with a secondary helper on Mitch Marner's first goal of the game. During the slump on offense, Tanev racked up 19 blocked shots. The defenseman has four helpers, 68 blocks, 10 shots on net, 10 PIM and a plus-4 rating while serving in a shutdown role on the second pairing.

Smith was assigned to AHL Chicago on Sunday.

Smith has been a healthy scratch 13 times in the NHL this season, including the last eight games. He has three assists in four AHL appearances during the 2024-25 campaign.

Ruhwedel was reassigned to AHL Hartford on Sunday.

Ruhwedel and Victor Mancini headed down to the minors Sunday, which could bode well for the availability of Zac Jones (upper body) ahead of Monday's matchup against St. Louis. The 34-year-old Ruhwedel has been a healthy scratch for the last six games, and he's appeared in only one game for the Rangers this season.

Mancini was assigned to AHL Hartford on Sunday.

Mancini has one goal, three assists, 13 shots on net, 12 blocked shots and seven hits across 10 NHL outings this season. The Rangers also loaned Chad Ruhwedel to the AHL on Sunday, indicating that Zac Jones (upper body) might be ready to return against the Blues on Monday.

Vejmelka stopped 32 of 35 shots in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Vejmelka turned in another solid performance, but a three-goal second period from Toronto handed him his fourth loss in his last seven outings. The 28-year-old has given up just 13 goals on 210 shots in that span, good for a .925 save percentage. Vejmelka will fill the No. 1 role while Connor Ingram (upper body) is on injured reserve, and the fact that he played both games of a back-to-back speaks volumes as to how little confidence Utah has in Jaxson Stauber. Consider Vejmelka likely to start again Tuesday in Montreal. He's at a 2-6-0 record despite a 2.30 GAA and a .926 save percentage through 10 outings this season.

Woll stopped 23 of 25 shots in Sunday's 3-2 win over Utah.

Woll has won four straight starts, allowing just six goals on 104 shots in that span. Utah had the first and last goals Sunday, but Toronto scored three times in the middle frame. The win improved Woll's overall numbers to 5-2-0 with a 2.00 GAA and a .921 save percentage through seven starts. The Maple Leafs are getting excellent play from both Woll and Anthony Stolarz this season, so this should ultimately shake out as a fairly even timeshare. A tough pair of road games are next on the schedule, as the Maple Leafs visit the Panthers on Wednesday and the Lightning on Saturday.

Perets was recalled from AHL Chicago on Sunday.

Perets has a 1-2-0 record with a 3.67 GAA and an .825 save percentage in three AHL appearances. He could occupy the backup role behind Spencer Martin on Monday against Dallas because of injuries to Pyotr Kochetkov (upper body) and Frederik Andersen (knee).

Portillo was recalled from AHL Ontario on Sunday.

The Kings sent down Pheonix Copley in a corresponding move. Portillo will probably occupy the backup role behind David Rittich in Monday's road game against San Jose due to the absence of Darcy Kuemper (undisclosed).

Copley was reassigned to AHL Ontario on Sunday.

Copley served as David Rittich's backup in Saturday's matchup with the Kraken. The 32-year-old netminder could potentially rejoin the Kings prior to Monday's game in San Jose, though goaltender Erik Portillo was recalled from Ontario in a corresponding move.

Vejmelka will guard the road net Sunday against the Maple Leafs, Belle Fraser of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

After stopping 27 of 28 shots in a win over Pittsburgh on Saturday, Vejmelka will make a second start in as many days with Connor Ingram (upper body) still sidelined. The 28-year-old Vejmelka is 2-5-0 despite a strong .927 save percentage and 2.21 GAA this season.
