Kings' Malik Monk: Now questionable vs. Nets
Monk (ankle) has been upgraded to questionable for Sunday's game against the Nets.
Monk's status for Sunday's game has been upgraded twice since initially being ruled out. Even if he isn't able to play, it appears the eighth-year guard is close to returning from a prolonged absence due to a right ankle sprain.

Kings' Malik Monk: Upgraded to doubtful
Monk (ankle) has been upgraded from out to doubtful for Sunday's game against the Nets.
Monk was initially listed as out, which would've marked his seventh straight absence. While he'll likely still be sidelined Sunday, Monk's upgrade to doubtful can still be viewed as a positive. Sunday's game is the first half of a back-to-back set, but Monk's status for Monday's game against the Thunder likely won't be released until Monday afternoon.

Kings' Malik Monk: Won't return Sunday
Monk (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Nets, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports.
Monk will miss a sixth straight game due to a right ankle sprain. He participated in non-contact drills during Thursday's practice, and he'll have to ramp up to team drills and scrimmages before returning to action. It's unlikely Monk will be available for the second leg of the Kings' back-to-back Monday against the Thunder.

Kings' DeMar DeRozan: Rough shooting night in return
DeRozan (lower back) tallied 16 points (6-19 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 4-8 FT), six rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block across 36 minutes in Friday's 104-88 loss to the Clippers.
The Kings didn't limit DeRozan's playing time in his return from a three-game absence due to the lower back injury, but the typically efficient forward struggled to find a rhythm both from the field and the free-throw line. In spite of the off night, DeRozan is still converting on 50.7 percent of his field goals and 82.3 percent of his free throws for the season, so fantasy managers shouldn't panic too much about the lack of efficiency in his first game back. He'll get Saturday off to recover before the Kings begin a back-to-back set Sunday versus the Nets.

Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Extends double-double streak Friday
Sabonis closed Friday's 104-88 loss to the Clippers with 24 points (9-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 15 rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 40 minutes.
After missing the prior two games due to back tightness, Sabonis appeared to be fully healthy in his return and reeled off his 13th straight game with a double-double or better. The 28-year-old center has seen his distribution numbers fall off a bit with DeMar DeRozan in the lineup, but he's averaging career highs in points (20.4), threes (1.0) and field-goal percentage (63.0 percent) to begin the season while supplying 12.7 boards and 6.4 assists per contest.

Kings' De'Aaron Fox: Drops game-high 29 in loss
Fox accumulated 29 points (10-20 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 8-10 FT), seven rebounds, seven assists and one steal across 43 minutes during Friday's 104-88 loss to the Clippers.
The 26-year-old point guard continues his torrid November pace. Fox has scored better than 20 points in every game this month, averaging 31.3 points, 5.3 boards, 5.2 assists, 2.3 threes and 1.8 steals through 12 contests while shooting 51.7 percent from the floor.

Len is not in the Kings' starting lineup for Friday's game against the Clippers, Justin Russo of the 'Clip & Roll' podcast reports.

Kings' Trey Lyles: Back to bench Friday
Lyles is not starting in Friday's game against the Clippers, Justin Russo of the 'Clip & Roll' podcast reports.
The Kings will be at full strength with the returns of both DeMar DeRozan and Domantas Sabonis due to back injuries. This means Lyles will return to his regular bench role. The big man averaged 14.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game as a starter, but his numbers will likely decrease considerably coming off the bench.

Sacramento recalled Robinson from the G League's Stockton Kings on Thursday.

Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Off injury report for Friday
Sabonis (back) is off the injury report for Friday's game against the Clippers.
Sabonis will return to game action after a two-game absence due to lower back tightness. With the big man and DeMar DeRozan (back) both off the injury report, Alex Len and Trey Lyles should shift back to their normal roles off the bench. Sabonis has averaged 20.2 points, 12.5 rebounds and 6.6 assists while shooting 64.1 percent from the field across 36.5 minutes per game in 13 regular-season outings.

Kings' DeMar DeRozan: Absent from injury report
DeRozan (back) isn't listed on the injury report ahead of Friday's game against the Clippers.
DeRozan participated in Thursday's practice and has officially been given the green light to play Friday evening after missing three games with a back injury. The team has yet to comment on whether the veteran forward will be on a minutes restriction, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see DeRozan ease back into action.

Kings' Mason Jones: Suffers hamstring injury Wednesday
Jones sustained a right hamstring strain during the G League Stockton Kings' 108-98 win over the Santa Cruz Warriors on Wednesday and will be re-evaluated in 7-to-10 days, Sean Cunningham of Fox 40 Sacramento reports.
Jones finished the contest with 16 points (6-13 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 0-1 FT), seven assists, three rebounds and one steal across 31 minutes, though he left prior to the conclusion of the game. The two-way guard has spent little time with Sacramento in 2024-25, having logged 13 total minutes over three appearances.

Kings' Malik Monk: Partial practice participant
Monk (ankle) participated in the non-contact portions of Thursday's practice, Frankie Cartoscelli of KHTK Sactown Sports 1140 reports.
Monk has missed Sacramento's last five contests due to a right ankle sprain. While the 26-year-old has yet to participate in a full-contact practice, his presence is a good sign regardless. Still, Monk is expected to remain sidelined for Friday's game in Los Angeles against the Clippers, and perhaps both ends of the Kings' Sunday/Monday back-to-back set versus the Nets and Thunder, respectively.

Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Returns to practice
Sabonis (back) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Brenden Nunes of KHTK Sactown Sports 1140 reports.
Sabonis has missed Sacramento's previous two contests due to lower back tightness. However, the star big man's return to practice is a good sign of his availability for Friday's game versus the Clippers.
