Thunder's Alex Caruso: Won't play Monday
Caruso (hip) is out for Monday's game against the Kings.
Caruso exited Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers early after aggravating a right hip injury that is now holding him out of Monday's contest. With Isaiah Joe (calf, questionable) also dealing with injury, the Thunder could be shorthanded at the wing spots, leaving ample minutes for Cason Wallace and Aaron Wiggins.

Thunder's Isaiah Joe: Iffy for Monday
Joe (calf) is questionable for Monday's game against the Kings.
Joe has missed the last two games due to a left calf contusion that now has his status for Monday's contest in question. If he is unable to go, Cason Wallace and Aaron Wiggins should be in line for extended minutes.

Thunder's Ousmane Dieng: Suffers finger fracture
Dieng will miss 3-4 weeks due to a right ring-finger fracture, Andrew Schlecht of The Athletic reports.
Dieng sustained a small fracture in his right ring finger while playing for the Oklahoma City Blue on Nov. 22 and is expected to miss at least three weeks. Dieng's absence doesn't figure to have much of an impact on the Thunder's rotation, as he's averaged just 9.6 minutes per game over his last 11 appearances.

Thunder's Isaiah Joe: Limited in practice
Joe (calf) was a limited participant in Saturday's practice, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.
Joe has missed two straight games due to a bruised left calf but was able to participate in portions of Saturday's practice. Dillon Jones has seen some additional minutes during Joe's absence and would likely continue to benefit if Joe were to sit out Monday's game at Sacramento.

Thunder's Branden Carlson: Back with Thunder
The Thunder recalled Carlson from the G League on Friday.
Carlson signed a one-year deal with Oklahoma City on Nov. 16, but he's yet to appear in an NBA game. With Isaiah Hartenstein back in the fold, there likely won't be many minutes available for Carlson.

Thunder's Luguentz Dort: Drops season-low point total in win
Dort scored just two points (0-7 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and added five rebounds, two assists and a block over 30 minutes in Wednesday's 109-99 win over the Trail Blazers.
While Dort failed to convert a field goal, the Thunder did not need him to as they received offensive explosions from Jalen Williams (30) and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (28) as well as three double-digit scoring performances off the bench, which was enough to win. Dort will continue to be a key piece of the Thunder's starting lineup moving forward.

Thunder's Jalen Williams: Leads team in scoring
Williams exploded for 30 points (11-19 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 3-3 FT) and added eight assists, seven rebounds, two steals and two blocks in Wednesday's 109-99 win over Portland.
Wednesday night marked Williams' second 30-point performance this season, and he also stuffed the stat sheet. Williams has been doing it all for the Thunder in stellar fashion recently, averaging 26.2 points, 7.3 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 2.7 steals and 1.2 blocks over 33.5 minutes through his last six games on 55/40/100 shooting splits.

Thunder's Branden Carlson: Headed to G League
The Thunder assigned Carlson to the Oklahoma City Blue of the G League on Thursday, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.
Carlson has yet to play any NBA minutes with the Thunder since signing with the team last week. However, he should receive increased playing time in the G League.

Thunder's Dillon Jones: Logs double-digit minutes
Jones ended Wednesday's 109-99 victory over Portland with zero points (0-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt), two rebounds and two assists over 11 minutes.
Jones missed all three of his shot attempts, continuing his mediocre start to the season. While the rookie has taken the floor in all but one game this season, his role is typically based on the play of others. He is averaging 2.3 points and 2.1 rebounds in just 8.4 minutes per game, numbers typically associated with a depth piece and nothing more.

Thunder's Ousmane Dieng: Fails to score in win
Dieng supplied zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-2 FT), one rebound and two steals over 11 minutes during Wednesday's 109-99 win over the Trail Blazers.
Dieng didn't trouble the scorers, failing to score for the third straight game. Although he has cracked the rotation in every game this season, Dieng has scored in double digits only once. In 11.6 minutes per game, he is putting up 3.5 points and 2.6 rebounds.

Thunder's Isaiah Hartenstein: Posts excellent numbers in return
Hartenstein (hand) finished with 13 points (6-12 FG, 1-2 FT), 14 rebounds, four blocks and three assists across 29 minutes during Wednesday's 109-99 victory over Portland.
Hartenstein made his season debut for the Thunder, returning from a non-displaced fractured left hand that cost him the first month of the season. Though the Thunder brought him off the bench, Hartenstein played major minutes, tallying a double-double while putting up a team-best plus-16 point differential. Given the long-term absence of Chet Holmgren (hip), Hartenstein should be a candidate to move into the starting five eventually, perhaps after getting another practice or two under his belt. Regardless, Hartenstein should have a sizable role for the Thunder while the team is short on healthy centers.

Thunder's Alex Caruso: Aggravates hip injury
Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault said that Caruso didn't return to Wednesday's 109-99 win over the Trail Blazers after aggravating a right hip injury in the third quarter, Rylan Stiles of FanSided.com reports. He generated 17 points (8-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt), two assists, two steals and one rebound across 15 minutes before leaving.
Caruso missed three straight games with right hip soreness before returning to action in Tuesday's loss to the Spurs. Though he was cleared to play in the second half of the back-to-back set, Caruso was unable to make it through the full game before departing. Caruso will have some added time to heal up from the injury, as the Thunder won't play again until Monday at Sacramento.

Thunder's Alex Caruso: Heads to locker room
Caruso went back to the locker room during Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.
Caruso went back to the locker room at the end of the third quarter with an undisclosed injury. If he misses time, expect Ajay Mitchell and Dillon Jones to see more minutes.

Thunder's Isaiah Hartenstein: Seismic return for Oklahoma City
Hartenstein (hand) has been cleared for action and will play Wednesday versus Portland, Rylan Stiles of FanSided.com reports.
Hartenstein was set to be re-evaluated at the end of November, so his availability Wednesday crushes his initial timeline after he suffered a non-displaced fracture in his left hand. He steps into a critical role with Chet Holmgren (hip) slated to be sidelined beyond the next month, although Hartenstein's initial ramp-up over the next week could be gradual. He profiles as a huge boost to Oklahoma City's rebounding as well as an asset in the pick-and-roll for all involved.

Thunder's Isaiah Joe: Out again Wednesday
Joe (calf) won't play Wednesday against Portland.
Joe will miss his second game in a row after suffering a left calf contusion during Sunday's 121-119 loss to Dallas. The Thunder could get center Isaiah Hartenstein (hand) back Wednesday, and though he plays a different position than Joe, Hartenstein could end up inheriting most of Joe's 22.1 minutes per game on the season.

Thunder's Isaiah Hartenstein: Upgraded to questionable
Hartenstein (hand) has been upgraded to questionable for Wednesday's game against Portland.
This is massive news for the Thunder, as Hartenstein was initially given a five-week timetable back on Oct. 17. With Chet Holmgren (hip) sidelined for multiple weeks, Hartenstein could step into a massive role right away for the Thunder, assuming his conditioning is up to par. Once Hartenstein does get the green light, the Thunder won't have to rely on their small-ball lineups as much.

Thunder's Alex Caruso: Brings defense in return
Caruso (hip) tallied two points (1-7 FG, 0-5 3Pt), five rebounds, three steals, two blocks and one assist in 26 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's 110-104 loss to the Spurs.
Despite missing the previous three games with right hip soreness, Caruso ended up seeing his most playing time of the season in his return to action Tuesday, as the Thunder had some more minutes available on the wing with Isaiah Joe (calf) sitting out and with Jalen Williams having been pushed up to center due to the team's injuries in the frontcourt. Caruso has gotten off to a brutal start to the season with his shooting, as he's converting at just a 29 percent clip from the field and 18.9 percent from three-point range, well below his career-long rates (43.5 and 37.3 percent, respectively). While Caruso's shooting should eventually rebound, for now, he looks to be strictly a streaming option for defensive stats in most leagues. He's averaging 1.8 steals and 0.8 blocks in just 20.1 minutes per game over his 12 appearances.

Thunder's Cason Wallace: Back to first unit with 13 points
Wallace finished Tuesday's 110-104 loss to the Spurs with 13 points (5-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt), three rebounds, seven assists and one block in 34 minutes.
Wallace recorded a season-high seven assists in the loss. The team continues to experiment with the backcourt positions, but both Wallace and Aaron Wiggins appear to be better options than Isaiah Joe, who missed this game due to a calf injury.

Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Drops 32 points in loss
Gilgeous-Alexander closed with 32 points (11-20 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three rebounds, seven assists and three steals in 37 minutes during Tuesday's 110-104 loss to the Spurs.
Gilgeous-Alexander continues to hit paydirt with excellent stat lines despite the Thunder's inability to record wins. The seventh-year vet is right in line with his usual averages, with 28.7 points, 6.3 assists, 5.1 rebounds and 1.7 steals over 15 games.
