Raptors' Gradey Dick: Leaves early Sunday
Dick left Sunday's game against the Cavaliers erly due to left calf soreness, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
Dick exited for the locker room in the fourth quarter due to a left calf injury and wasn't able to return. He concludes the game with 18 points (6-17 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds and one assist across 30 minutes of play. If he is forced to miss time, Davion Mitchell will likely see an increased role.

Raptors' Bruno Fernando: Available Sunday
Fernando (ankle) is available for Sunday's game against the Cavaliers, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.
Fernando missed the last two games due to a right ankle sprain, but he will return to action Sunday. His availability figures to have a limited impact on the rotation as he's averaged just 9.1 minutes per contest in 11 appearances this season.

Raptors' Bruce Brown: Nearing return to action
Brown is listed as out for Sunday's game versus the Cavaliers due to returning to playing condition, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports.
Brown has yet to suit up this season due to a knee issue, but his injury designation change indicates that he is nearing a return to action. While it would be surprising for Brown to suit up Monday against Detroit, Wednesday's matchup with New Orleans is a more realistic target for a return.

Raptors' Bruno Fernando: Questionable for Sunday
Fernando (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus the Cavaliers, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Fernando is in danger of missing his third straight contest Sunday due to a sprained left ankle. The 26-year-old big man is averaging 3.5 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 9.1 minutes across his 11 appearances this season.

Raptors' Jamal Shead: Returns to NBA
The Raptors recalled Shead from the G League's Raptors 905 on Friday.
Shead recorded 11 points (5-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt), 13 assists, two rebounds, two steals and a block in 27 minutes during his G League season debut Friday against the Long Island Nets. Shead will now return to the NBA, where he should continue to operate as one of Toronto's primary bench options in the backcourt.

Raptors' Gradey Dick: Shooting woes from deep Thursday
Dick ended with nine points (4-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt), six rebounds, two steals and one assist in 34 minutes during Thursday's 110-105 victory over Minnesota.
Dick struggled from beyond the arc once again, and in his last four outings since scoring a career-high 32 points against the Bucks on Nov. 12, he has shot only 24.0 percent from outside. The second-year swingman has also averaged 12.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists across 35.3 minutes per game in that same four-game span. Dick has six games with 20-plus points thus far, though he will likely see a decrease in usage with the return of Scottie Barnes (eye).

Raptors' Jonathan Mogbo: Quality outing off bench
Mogbo had six points (3-6 FG), seven rebounds, one assist and one steal over 19 minutes during Thursday's 110-105 win over the Timberwolves.
Despite the return of Scottie Barnes (eye), Mogbo remained one of Toronto's primary bench options in frontcourt rotation. However, the rookie forward has tallied double-digit points in just two of his 16 appearances this season, and the Raptors assigned Mogbo to the G League's Raptors 905 on Friday, per Aaron Rose of SI.com. Mogbo was recalled to the NBA club ahead of Sunday's game in Cleveland, though his playing time may be limited moving forward.

Raptors' Jonathan Mogbo: Headed to G League
The Raptors assigned Mogbo to the G League's Raptors 905 on Friday, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.
Mogbo is averaging 4.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 15.7 minutes across 16 appearances for the Raptors in the NBA this season. The rookie forward should receive increased playing time while in the G League.

Raptors' Immanuel Quickley: Return likely weeks away
Quickley (elbow) isn't expected to be ready to return to game action until mid-December at the earliest, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
Quickley was diagnosed Nov. 12 with a partial UCL tear in his left elbow, and though he was scheduled to be re-evaluated this week, Lewenberg noted at the time of the diagnosis that the point guard would likely miss around a month. Nothing appears to have changed with Quickley's timeline since he suffered the injury, and so long as he's able to avoid surgery on the elbow, he should remain on track to resume playing by the second half of December. Quickley has been limited to just three appearances in his first full season with Toronto, as he also missed eight games with a right pelvic contusion before suffering the elbow injury.

Raptors' Kelly Olynyk: Taking part in non-contact work
Olynyk (back) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
Olynyk took part only in non-contact drills, and while he seems to be improving as he ramps up from a back strain, he'll still have another checkpoint to clear in his recovery before his season debut can be viewed as imminent. The big man appears unlikely to be available at any point during the Raptors' four-game road trip that begins Sunday in Cleveland and wraps up next Friday in Miami, but barring any setbacks, he could be ready to play in early December. The Raptors are expected to get by with Bruno Fernando (ankle) and Jonathan Mogbo as their primary backup options at center behind starter Jakob Poeltl while Olynyk is on the mend.

Raptors' Bruce Brown: Practicing fully, needs to ramp up
Brown (knee) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, but he's expected to require some additional ramp-up time before he's cleared to make his season debut, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
Brown has been sidelined since shortly before training camp after he underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee in September. Though he seems to have avoided any complications in his recovery, Brown will probably need to get in a few more practices under his belt until the Raptors are comfortable enough with where he's at from a conditioning standpoint to make him available for games. Brown will most likely remain sidelined for the Raptors' Sunday/Monday road back-to-back set in Cleveland and Detroit, but a return later next week could be plausible. After being acquired from the Pacers last January, Brown made 34 appearances (11 starts) for Toronto to close out the 2023-24 season and averaged 9.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.6 three-pointers in 26.0 minutes in those contests.

Raptors' Davion Mitchell: Top distributor in return to bench
Mitchell logged three points (0-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds and eight assists across 27 minutes during Thursday's 110-105 victory over the Timberwolves.
Mitchell moved back to the bench Thursday with the return of Scottie Barnes to Toronto's starting lineup. The backup guard led all Raptors in assists despite struggling to shoot from the field and not contributing much via scoring. Mitchell's assist total marks a season high while coming off the bench and the fifth time he has contributed at least eight dimes.

Raptors' RJ Barrett: Surpasses 30 points as top scorer
Barrett logged 31 points (10-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 10-12 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and three steals in 35 minutes during Thursday's 110-105 victory over the Timberwolves.
Barrett led the way for Toronto in Thursday's contest, leading all players in scoring and free throws made while swiping a team-leading trio of steals in a well-rounded performance. Barrett has scored north of 30 points in five contests this season, including in two straight outings.

Raptors' Chris Boucher: Leads from three off bench in win
Boucher provided 22 points (7-13 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 5-8 FT), four rebounds, one block and two steals over 26 minutes during Thursday's 110-105 victory over the Timberwolves.
Boucher put together one of his best outings of the season Thursday, coming off the bench and leading all Raptors players in threes made while surpassing the 20-point mark in a winning effort. Boucher has connected on at least three threes in four outings this season, now having reached 20 or more points in two contests.

Raptors' Scottie Barnes: Serves as point guard in return
Barnes (orbital) produced 17 points (5-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six assists, three rebounds and one steal across 27 minutes during Thursday's 110-105 win over the Timberwolves.
Barnes returned to action Thursday after missing Toronto's last 11 games due to a right orbital fracture. He ended up joining the starting five in place of Davion Mitchell and took over as point guard, with his six assists leading the top unit. So long as Immanuel Quickley (elbow) remains sidelined, Barnes could end up serving as Toronto's lead facilitator, which might allow him to improve upon the career-best 6.1 assists per game he averaged in 2023-24. Due to the recent absence, Barnes was operating under a light playing-time restriction Thursday, but he should eventually settle into a 35-minute-per-game role within the next contest or two.

Raptors' Davion Mitchell: Retreats to bench
Mitchell will come off the bench in Thursday's game against Minnesota, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
With Scottie Barnes making his return to game action, Mitchell will slide to the bench. In his last five outings (four starts), the 26-year-old guard has averaged 5.8 points, 5.4 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 1.0 steals across 30.0 minutes per game.

Raptors' Ja'Kobe Walter: Available vs. Minnesota
Walter (shoulder) is available for Thursday's game against Minnesota, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
The rookie first-round pick has missed the Raptors' last six games with an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder, but he should see minutes off the bench in this one as a depth piece in the backcourt. Walter is averaging just 2.5 points and 2.8 rebounds in his four appearances off the bench this season.
